MEMBERSHIP
PTSA works closely with the entire school community -- parents, teachers, staff, students, Friends of Reed, Friends of IHP, and our community volunteers -- to put students and families first.
Membership is open to parents, teachers, students, staff, family, community members, or anyone who wants to be involved in making a difference for the education, health, and welfare of our students.
While encouraged, membership is not necessary to receive access to resources, subscribe to the newsletter, or attend most events.
Your Walter Reed Middle School PTSA is part of the Valley Gateway Council of PTAs, in the 31st District, which is part of California State PTA and National PTA.
HOW TO SUPPORT REED PTSA
PTSA promotes inclusive and and quality education for all students and families, collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth, and for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.
